What is Treede?

Treede is a digital platform for sourcing additive-manufactured parts. Customers upload their 3D models, receive a transparent manufacturing price and Treede coordinates production through suitable capacity.

Does Treede manufacture the parts itself?

Treede coordinates manufacturing through production capacity in its network. The exact production setup depends on the technical requirements of the order.

How is the price calculated?

Treede considers the actual manufacturing job instead of relying only on a price-per-gram rule. Relevant factors can include machine utilisation, material, setup and additional processing requirements.

Which file formats are supported?

STEP and STL are planned as primary input formats.

When does Treede launch?

Treede is currently in development. The current target is Q2 2027.

Where will Treede be available?

Treede will initially focus on Switzerland.
